‘I regret’: Bill Gates just spoke out about the Epstein email involving STDs

Epstein’s unsettling shadow still lingers.

Bill Gates has spoken out about being named in newly released documents about Jeffrey Epstein, saying he regrets “every minute [he] spent with him.” The Microsoft founder was mentioned in three million pages of files released by the US Justice Department. The files also included 180,000 images and 2,000 videos.

According to Unilad, the most shocking claim comes from a supposed 2013 memo that Epstein allegedly sent to himself, addressed to “Bill.” The message claimed Gates caught sexually transmitted diseases from “Russian girls.” It also said Gates asked for antibiotics to “surreptitiously give to Melinda” and included a “description of your penis.”

Gates addressed these allegations in a recent interview and strongly denied them. “Apparently, Jeffrey wrote an email to himself. That email was never sent. The email is false,” he said. He questioned Epstein’s reasons, asking, “I don’t know what his thinking was there. Was he trying to attack me in some way?”

Gates denies visiting Epstein’s island and explains why he met with him

Gates said he never visited Epstein’s private island and never had inappropriate relations with women. He explained that his meetings with Epstein, which started in 2011, were about global health work. “The focus was always, he knew a lot of very rich people, and he was saying he could get them to give money to global health,” Gates said.

Looking back, Gates called the association a “dead end.” He admitted he was “foolish to spend time with him” and regrets knowing him. Gates has been focusing his attention on other business ventures, including investing in rare earth mineral drilling. He said that as more details come out, it will show that spending time with Epstein “was a mistake, it has nothing to do with that kind of behavior.”

A spokesperson for Gates called the claims “absolutely absurd and completely false.” The spokesperson said the documents show Epstein’s frustration that he didn’t have an ongoing relationship with Gates. They suggested Epstein was trying to “entrap and defame” Gates.

Gates’ ex-wife, Melinda, also spoke about the situation on a recent podcast. She said “whatever questions remain there of what I don’t, can’t even begin to know all of it, those questions are for those people and for even my ex-husband.” She added that “No girl, no girl should ever be put in the situation that they were put in by Epstein and whatever was going on with all of the various people around him.”

Melinda said that when these details come up again, it’s hard for her because it “brings back memories of some very, very painful times in my marriage.” The three million documents mentioned many well-known people, including President Trump, Elon Musk, and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. Speaker Mike Johnson defended Trump’s appearance in the files. The Justice Department noted that some claims against President Trump were submitted before the 2020 election and are “unfounded and false.”
