Woman marries life-sized rag doll, but after having 4 children with him, she wants her ‘husband’ to have a vasectomy

Their wedding was an impressive feat.

As the adage goes, you never know what’s awaiting you on your next scroll on TikTok. For over 800,000 users of the app this past week, it was Meirivone Rocha Moraes and her loving Marcelo, together with their young family of three. The only issue is that Meirivone is the only human member of that family.

At this point, what haven’t we seen on TikTok? Family reunions, car advice, you name it. The app is the only place where you can get a true slice of life. And that just so happens to include Meirivone, who is constantly being called “wacky” for “marrying” a rag doll.

The 39-year-old was, at the time, apparently eight months pregnant with her fourth child, sired by her husband — which, again, is a rag doll. To be clear, all the children are rag dolls too. This is truly the kind of content that once made Americans of all backgrounds beseech the president to not let the app stay banned in the US, no matter what it will take. By now, Meirivone has already given life to her new doll-based child, as her due date was around Christmas time in 2025.

She explained, “With great enthusiasm and joy we had the gender reveal party and discovered that our fourth baby is a boy.” The Brazilian content creator added, “Marcelo and I are very happy because now we will have two girls and two boys.”

It might still be Valentine’s season at the time of reporting this story, but Meirivone and Marcelo’s story is sadly not one of sweeping romance. She explained that the way the two “met” was in response to her mother constantly pressuring her to bring a husband home during the holidays. Sometimes pressure makes diamonds. Sometimes it leads people to make public service announcements on the internet about how their rag-doll husband is getting a “vasectomy.”

Meirivone wanted TikTok to know that this would be her last child. She chose to announce this in her bathroom, just after flushing, while announcing that they were expecting a boy and planned to end things there.

Surprisingly, her mother was actually the person who knitted Marcelo for her. And when Meirivone got pregnant with her first child, she managed to convince 250 people to put everything else they had on hold to attend her exchanging vows with an inanimate rag doll. That alone is an impressive feat. She explained why it was a no-brainer to get married so quickly after meeting him, saying, “Marcelo is such a strapping man, all women envy him.”

Apparently, Marcelo also has a bit of a wandering eye. Meirivone spared no detail explaining how that could come about. “Marcelo is naughty, he goes after women and then lies to me that nothing happens.” Luckily, she now has a plan. She explained, “The last time, I got really mad and decided to detach his penis. It is a white rubber dildo, which measures about 16cm, so I decided to take it off. I’ve done it before.”

Next time you feel tempted to pressure a family member about finding a spouse, always remember that if it annoys you this much, you could always just knit them one up.
