A viral video posted by Florida resident Sienna May (@teatimewithsi) has captured a truly bizarre interaction between her and her soon-to-be ex-husband that has already racked up 14 million views on TikTok. The footage shows May in her kitchen, attempting to prep vegetables for a meal while her husband approaches her with a request that is honestly hard to believe.
The video features an onscreen caption stating, “My s[o]on to be ex husband asked if the woman who he cheated on me with can stay with us because she is getting evicted from her apartment.” Yes, you read that right, the husband suggested that his affair partner, Ashley, should move into their home.
The entire scene is incredibly tense. May is visibly irritated but manages to keep a relatively calm demeanor as her husband tries to justify why his side chick needs a place to crash. He even suggests that the woman could help out around the kitchen. Not only is this absolutely insane, considering their marriage is falling apart. He was talking to May while she was using a giant cleaver.
I need to know where this insane idiot even gets the audacity
This is where I should mention that when I first watched the video, I was very distracted by May’s horrendous knife skills. Of course, then I heard the conversation, and my outrage doubled. If you take a look at her profile, you will see a series of videos where May had previously investigated her husband and confirmed his infidelity. Now, she simply stood her ground and refused to have the woman anywhere near their home.
The husband tries to pivot by suggesting the woman could stay in the garage. Then we get a peek into this man’s maturity. She points out that he cheated and that he is responsible for ruining their family. Between that and the frustration of her refusal, he grabs half of an avocado from the cutting board and smashes it directly into her face.
Predictably, people have been flooding the comments section, with many, like TikToker Josue, questioning if the situation is actually real. Others, however, focused on the legal implications. Noor 🍂 commented, “You’re incredibly smart for not reacting and getting this on camera. All the best to you in divorce court,” and Mr. Connors suggested, “Send that video right to your attorney.”
Of course, some were rightfully outraged; Ayse Shay Snyder, for instance, chimed in with, “Really mature dude. And you have a lot of nerve dude.” However, I was validated when so many of the commenters were as distracted by May’s cooking and chopping choices. Boredomfalls summarized it best when they asked, “why are you cutting the onions like that?” I guess, it is the best indication of just how chaotic this situation was.

This situation serves as a stark reminder of the complexities involved in cohabiting during a divorce. In Florida, there are no laws or restrictions that prevent couples from living together while proceedings are moving forward. Lawyer Robert M. Geller pointed out that while cohabiting is technically allowed, it can create significant complications regarding the division of property, financial matters, and the overall stability of the home environment.
Attorneys typically advise their clients to consider how cohabiting might affect the legal process, as the friction generated by living together can complicate everything from property distribution to child support arrangements. The emotional strain of living with a spouse you are divorcing can be immense, and as seen in this video, it can lead to volatile interactions that might not have occurred otherwise.

May’s husband has been treating the entire situation with a lot of belligerence and immaturity. Unlike some other cheaters, he clearly doesn’t have any remorse for being caught.
May’s decision to record the interaction now stands as a piece of evidence that has captured the attention of millions. This evidence might also be key to preventing the divorce from being overturned later.
