A California dispute at a car dealership escalated into a heated, near-physical altercation over alleged missing payment documentation, according to a viral social media video posted by Lucky Dad 1982 (@lucky.dad.1982) on TikTok.

The footage, recorded at what is identified in the posts as Platinum Auto Sales in Norco, California, near Los Angeles, shows a customer repeatedly asking staff for payment confirmation related to a vehicle trade-in. Employees in the video question why they are being recorded and instruct the individual to leave the premises, citing private property rules.

“I need the documentation,” the customer says in the video, insisting he is seeking confirmation of payment. Staff respond that he is trespassing and direct him to exit the building. The exchange quickly becomes confrontational as both sides argue over access to records and recording inside the office.

In the video, voices are raised, and profanity is used by multiple parties as the situation escalates. At several points, employees instruct the individual to leave immediately, while the customer continues to request written confirmation of payment and says he is being removed without receiving the paperwork he came for.

The confrontation intensifies into a verbal altercation that includes threats, foul and aggressive language. The video appears to show a brief standoff before the individual exits the property. No injuries were reported in the footage. One comment noted, “That lawsuit bout to [be] crazyyyyy.”

In a follow-up post, the Lucky Dad claimed that sheriff’s deputies arrived after the incident, stating that several deputies responded while he remained outside the dealership. He again characterized the dispute as centered on documentation tied to a vehicle payoff or trade-in process.

He also criticized the dealership’s handling of the situation and encouraged others to avoid the business, though those claims remain unverified and reflect his personal account of what happened.

In subsequent posts, the same user said he had received support from community members and claimed to be in contact with the city manager. He stated that some commenters suggested retaliatory action, but said he intended to pursue legal avenues instead.

Lucky Dad also referenced plans to organize a protest outside the dealership, encouraging supporters to attend and coordinate participation via private messages. He later posted details suggesting demonstrations were being planned for Friday and Saturday, with signage being prepared and attendees invited.

In additional updates, he reiterated that any planned protest would be nonviolent and said he was working to ensure coordination with city officials. He also warned followers not to confuse the dealership with other nearby auto businesses, naming a specific location on Hamner Avenue and urging people not to target unrelated companies.

He further alleged in later posts that he had received concerning messages involving his personal information, though those claims have not been substantiated.

As of publication, Platinum Auto Sales has not commented on the incident or the allegations made in the viral videos. The circumstances surrounding the dispute remain based on social media accounts that have not been independently confirmed.
