Reports say his order wasn't ready.

A confrontation at a Taco Bell in Madison, Mississippi, has gone viral after a video appears to show a delivery driver throwing a cash register during an argument over an order that was not ready. According to local news outlet WLBT, authorities later identified a suspect in a Taco Bell dispute in Madison as 43-year-old John Michael Beall. Madison police confirmed an incident occurred at a Taco Bell on West Main Street in Madison, a city north of Jackson in central Mississippi.

As WLBT reports, officers with the Madison Police Department responded to the restaurant at approximately 2:35 p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2026, after receiving a report of a disruption involving a delivery driver. Additional reporting from SuperTalk Mississippi stated that Beall entered the restaurant to pick up an order before the confrontation happened

Beall also shouted a racist epithet

Investigators told WLBT that Beall allegedly damaged a cash register and threw it at a Taco Bell employee during the dispute. Police said he then left the business and attempted to drive away from the scene. Officers located him in the parking lot and took him into custody without incident.

The alleged viral video seems to show the person behind the camera attempting to intervene, telling the irate driver, “Settle down.” The Taco Bell employees then band together and tell him to leave. One shouts, “I’m not scared of you.” The video shows Beall shout a racist epithet as he exits.

The video gained additional attention after Reddit user MediumJaguar7842 shared it on the r/PublicFreakout forum. One commenter summed up the reaction from many viewers by writing, “He makes toddlers look well behaved.”

Madison police charged Beall with misdemeanor malicious mischief and simple assault by threat, according to WLBT. Authorities later released him on bond. The case is expected to proceed through the Madison Municipal Court. Reports call Beall a “delivery driver.” The exact service has not been specified.

As of June 11, no court disposition has been reported, and the charges against Beall remain allegations. Madison police have not publicly announced any additional charges related to the incident. As of June 11, Taco Bell, the delivery service, or Beall’s attorneys have not publicly commented on what happened. Law enforcement has not officially confirmed the man in the video is Beall.
