Noah Jupe has reportedly been tapped for a role in the upcoming Marvel movie Avengers: Secret Wars, according to Deadline. Production for the highly anticipated project is set to kick off later this year.
Marvel had no comment on Jupe joining the project, so we will have to wait for more official updates to see exactly who he is playing, if the rumor is true. But according to fan speculation on Reddit, he makes a good fit for Franklin Richards, the son of Reed Richards and Sue Storm of the Fantastic Four. Keeping that aside, fans also think he could be playing Iceman or even The Beyonder, although we are not sure whether those characters will be present in the movie at all.
Avengers: Secret Wars is currently scheduled to premiere on December 17, 2027. Anthony and Joe Russo will be directing the project, while Marvel President Kevin Feige is the producer. It will be the 40th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the final installment of Phase Six and The Multiverse Saga.
Jupe’s filmography is packed with high-quality projects
Over the summer, Jupe starred opposite Sadie Sink in the West End production of Romeo and Juliet. That performance earned him rave reviews. Sink has also made her own mark on the Marvel universe recently, appearing as Jean Grey in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Repped by WME and Brillstein Entertainment Partners, Jupe co-starred in the Oscar-winning Focus Features picture Hamnet. He also appeared in the second season of The Night Manager this year alongside Tom Hiddleston.
If you are looking to see more of his work soon, you can look forward to the Jaume Collet-Serra thriller Play Dead, which was recently picked up by Netflix. He has also just finished production on A Quiet Place Part 3.
Marvel Studios has a couple of months before it unveils Avengers: Doomsday. It’s a similar timeline to when Secret Wars‘ production starts.
