Enjoy playing Halo 4? Got a lot of free time on your hands? Then November is your lucky month as Microsoft wants to reward you for playing the latest adventure in their mega-popular series.

The company is awarding XBOX Live Rewards members free Microsoft Points for playing Halo 4‘s multiplayer. Now, before you get too excited you should know that to earn those free MS Points, it’s going to take you quite a bit of time.

For 600 MS Points, you’ll need to sink in 140 hours of multiplayer, for 300 MS Points you’ll need to put in 70 hours and finally, for a measly 100 MS Points, you’ll need to free up 35 hours.

Now, there is another way to get these MS Points. If you purchase Halo related content on the XBOX Live Marketplace, you’ll get some of your hard earned MS Points back. Spending 3000 will get you 200 back and spending 1500 will give you 100 back. Finally, spend 300 and play 35 hours of multiplayer and you’ll get 800 MS Points back.

The offer is valid until November 30th for all XBOX Live Rewards members, so be sure to sign in and start playing Halo 4‘s multiplayer right away. The way I see it is that I’ll be pouring numerous hours into the game anyway, so why not get free rewards while doing it?

Am I right?
