Set to hit in the new year, Movie 43 is being pegged as the big comedy for January. With a plentiful cast and crew joined for an ensemble slapstick caper of intertwined stories, the red band trailer presented us with a string of knob gags, menstruation jokes and general guttersnipery. Brilliant.

For a film which assembles a cast featuring almost the entirety of Hollywood, the marketing team for Relativity could have steered the first one-sheet for Movie 43 into any number of directions. By the looks of it though, the whole design department must have had to attend a meeting half way through as it appears they left an intern to finish the poster.

On top of what started out as an unusual colour palette, it looks like someone’s little sister snipped photos from her Entertainment Weekly and slapped them around an outline of a naked woman with the tagline and title obscuring her naughty bits. Then again, this perspective suits the tone of the film – which has subjected some of Hollywood’s finest to depravity.

Some of those include:  Kate Winslet, Halle Berry, Elizabeth Banks, Kate Bosworth, Gerard Butler, Josh Duhamel, Anna Faris, Chris Pratt, Richard Gere, Terrence Howard, Hugh Jackman, Johnny Knoxville, Chloe Moretz, Justin Long, Leslie Bibb, Liev Schreiber, Naomi Watts, Seann William Scott, Emma Stone, Jason Sudeikis and Uma Thurman.

Movie 43 lands in theatres on January 25th, 2013.
