Over the weekend Showtime revealed a new trailer for the upcoming fifth season of Dexter. The trailer was revealed at Comic Con and season five looks like it’s going to be amazing. The trailer (and this article) contains spoilers from last season, so if you haven’t seen season four I’d suggest not watching the trailer.

The season looks like it will revolve around Dexter’s guilt over the death of Rita. He blames himself for it and it looks like the people around him are going to put some blame on him also. I’m interested to see how the kids will handle Rita’s death and what life is going to be like for them. Will Dexter become a full time father to them now that Rita is gone? Will he still continue his killings?

I think that through the investigation of Rita’s murder, Dexter may come under suspicion. Could this be the season where everyone finally finds out who Dexter really is? Maybe he’ll finally come clean?

Whatever does happen one thing is forsure, it looks like this could be the best season yet and I can’t wait for it to start. Remember to tune in September 26, 2010 for the season premiere.
