Superman Appears Handcuffed In New Man Of Steel Poster

Today, a new one-sheet for Zack Snyder's upcoming Man of Steel has been released, featuring the titular hero in handcuffs. This is the second big poster we've seen today as earlier this morning, we got a glimpse of the first official poster for Star Trek Into Darkness which, like this one, was a bit cryptic and doesn't tell us all that much about the film.

Today, a new one-sheet for Zack Snyder’s upcoming Man of Steel has been released, featuring the titular hero in handcuffs. This is the second big poster we’ve seen today as earlier this morning, we got a look at the first official poster for Star Trek Into Darkness which, like this one, was a bit cryptic and doesn’t tell us all that much about the film.

Fear not though because a trailer will be arriving in a couple weeks as Snyder has confirmed that those who head to theatres to see The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will also catch a glimpse of the new Man of Steel trailer. Of course, it will likely also find its way online shortly after for those who have no interest in returning to Middle Earth. But honestly, who wouldn’t be interested in returning to Jackson’s magical world?

But I digress. Man Of Steel still has a lot of skeptics and I can see why. With so much secrecy shrouding the film, it’s difficult to know what exactly we’re going to be getting from Superman’s latest outing. Plus, with the last Superman film, Superman Returns, turning out to be a complete bust, many remain hesitant as to whether the character can make a respectable return to form.

For now though, all we can do is hope and in a few weeks time, when that new trailer is released, we should have a better idea of what to expect. In the meantime though, check out the poster below (showcasing Henry Cavill as Superman) and let us know what you think in the comments section.

Also starring Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Russell Crowe Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer and Christopher Meloni, Man of Steel hits theaters June 14th, 2013.

What do you think? Solid poster? Looking forward to the film?
