New Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time Trailer Released

It's hard to believe that it's been seven years since Sly Cooper went on his last adventure back in the days of the PlayStation 2. That's why it's nice to see that the upcoming Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time looks to retain the same sense of character and personality previous games in the series were known for - at least if this new trailer is any indication.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been seven years since Sly Cooper went on his last adventure back in the days of the PlayStation 2. That’s why it’s nice to see that the upcoming Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time looks to retain the same sense of character and personality previous games in the series were known for – at least if this new trailer is any indication.

Containing some brief interviews with Sly’s allies Bentley and Murray, as well as his rival and occasional love interest Carmelita, the video fills players in on Sly’s talents and reputation as a master thief. There’s also some new gameplay footage to showcase some of the environments players can expect to navigate, along with some of Sly’s playable ancestors made possible through a time-travel plot.

Published by Sony and developed by Sanzaru Games, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is currently scheduled for a North American release on February 5, 2013. It will simultaneously launch on the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita, with Sony’s Cross-Buy initiative allowing those who purchase the PS3 version to get a free download code for the Vita version as well.

We will keep you updated as the game draws closer to its release.
