Max Payne 3 is set to have its final multiplayer DLC with the Deathmatch Made in Heaven. Feuding crews and lone wolfs will be able to greatly expand their multiplayer experience when the pack releases on January 22nd.

Rockstar has yet to release full details on what will be coming alongside the new DLC, but judging by the content they have released thus far we can safely assume a few of the inevitable additions. Players should be able to expect new weapons, gear items, and even bursts. Without a doubt we will be seeing additional multiplayer maps, and Rockstar has even confirmed that there will be entirely new co-op and competitive modes for Crews to feud in.

It is certainly sad to know that the new content releasing on the 22nd will be the last, but it’s always important to look forward. Once Rockstar launches Max Payne 3’s last DLC, it wouldn’t surprise me if they start gathering all the help they can get in order to bring Grand Theft Auto V to store shelves this year. Fans of Max Payne 3 multiplayer should keep an eye on GTAV’s multiplayer, because the Crew features now introduced will be carrying over completey. What’s probably the most intriguing idea is how Rockstar will evolve the sandbox multiplayer from GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption with the idea of Crew features.

I mean c’mon, Free-Roam Crew Based Multiplayer – that just sounds awesome.

Crew Features

The Deathmatch Made in Heaven Pack will set you back  800 Microsoft Points, or $9.99 on PSN and PC. Of course, many of you have more than likely already picked up the Season Pass. European gamers will have to hold their fire until January 30th, but it will surely be worth the wait.

Be sure to let us know what you hope to see in the new DLC next week!
