A recent posting, courtesy of All Games Beta, reveals a huge batch of images from High Moon Studios’ upcoming Deadpool game, which should help keep players that worry about the authenticity of the character at ease.

Wade Wilson is known to be somewhat eccentric, but that doesn’t stop him from being a force of destruction. Each image grants us a firm reassurance that his solo gaming debut will remain true to the psychotic killer we have all come to love.

Marvel fans everywhere will surely be flipping out of their chairs after realizing the new screens confirm the appearance of Cable. This is enough to make any Deadpool fan jump into frenzied speculation about the possibilities of where the game will take our mercenary, and how Cable factors in. We are even given glimpses at destroyed Sentinels that litter the environment. These mutant hunting machines could prove for some interesting boss fights, and we can only hope that it will be slightly more exciting than the X-Men Origins: Wolverine encounter.

It appears that Deadpool is already in fantastic hands with High Moon Studios. Being the team that brought Transformers into the gaming culture again should prove beneficial, as they have a knack for capturing the essence of what makes a property awesome. With any luck, Deadpool will be bantering his way through dozens of enemies in no time, and we’ll be reaping the benefits.

As always, we’ll keep you posted when any new media or information from the game emerges.

Let us know what you think about the new screens in the comments below. Is the game shaping up nicely, or will you hold off judgement until we see the merc-with-a-mouth in action? Oh, and how excited are you that Cable will be making an appearance? I bet that made you happy, didn’t it?
