New Battlefield 3 Screens And Gameplay Trailer

Today we are fortunate to get not only a couple new screens for Battlefield 3, but also the first gameplay trailer. The screens are pretty damn impressive and the trailer shows off DICE's new Frostbite 2 engine. We don't see a whole lot but the trailer does confirm the Back To Karkand DLC map pack. The DLC will come free to those who purchase the Limited Edition and it will include four Battlefield 2 maps that are "re-imagined" with Frostbyte 2's "physics, destruction and visuals."

“We wanted to create the most immersive and emotionally powerful Battlefield game ever and we needed new technology to deliver on our vision,” said Patrick Bach, the game’s executive producer.

Battlefield 3 will hit the XBOX 360, PC and PS3 this fall.
