Ewan McGregor Joins Jack The Giant Killer

Currently putting together a killer cast (no pun intended), is Bryan Singer. Singer is currently putting together a cast for his next film Jack The Giant Killer. First he cast X-Men: First Class's Nicholas Hoult in the lead. Then Bill Nighy and Stanley Tucci were cast in villain roles. Now Mr. Ewan McGregor has joined the cast and he'll likely play the king's head of security. The cast is just about finalized except for one more lead role, which is most likely going to either Adelaide Kane or Eleanor Tomlinson. With shooting set to start next month, I'm sure we'll hear more about the last lead role very shortly.

When a princess is kidnapped, a long-standing peace between men and giants becomes threatened, and a young farmer is given an opportunity to lead a dangerous expedition to the giant kingdom to rescue her.
