Gears of War 3 Beta Kicks Off This April

The multiplayer beta for Gears of War 3 will take place in "mid-april" according to Microsoft. No word on how long the beta would last or when it would end but to gain access to the beta simply pick up a copy of Epic Games' latest shoot-em-up, Bulletstorm, on the Xbox 360. If you didn't get Bulletstorm, but you still want to play Gears of War 3 three months early, maybe it's time to run out and grab a copy.

The multiplayer beta for Gears of War 3 will take place in “mid-april” according to Microsoft. No word on how long the beta would last or when it would end but to gain access to the beta simply pick up a copy of Epic Games’ latest shoot-em-up, Bulletstorm, on the Xbox 360. If you didn’t get Bulletstorm, but you still want to play Gears of War 3 three months early, maybe it’s time to run out and grab a copy.

The beta will feature four multiplayer maps, and three “new” game modes. No word on what those new modes are though. As for the levels, Epic has already picked two levels for the beta, but is letting the community decide the others based on a poll that is on the game’s facebook page. If you want to vote, you better do it soon as the polls close next monday, February 28th.
