Things have been pretty quiet on the Marvel front lately, which means that it’s time for some DC goodness to come our way. Today, we get yet another rumour surrounding the upcoming Justice League film, which may or may not be happening at this point. Every day the status of the project seems to change.

What we’re hearing today though is that David Goyer, who is responsible for writing Man of Steel and Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy, among other things, is going to be involved in the Justice League film in some capacity.

Of  course, there isn’t any official confirmation on this but here’s two Tweets from AMC Movie News’ Editor In Chief John Campea:

So, again, this is just a rumour and is in no way a scoop or official news. That being said, the likelihood of this happening is certainly high. We know that the studio has been struggling with the project and is having trouble getting it off the ground. Bringing in someone like Goyer, who has clearly had success with the DC characters in the past, is a smart move. While I think it would make more sense to have him write rather than direct, either possibility is intriguing. To be honest, having Goyer write the film is such a great idea, to me at least, that I’m surprised no one though of this before.

What do you think? Do you want to see David Goyer write and/or direct the Justice League film? Let us know in the comments below.
