New World War Z Posters Show Every Major City Up In Flames

World War Z. Need anymore be said? Everyone knows of the troubled production, the redacted statements, the reshoots, the rewrites, the...sorry, started to nod off there. With a whole twelve months of reporting focusing on the struggles the film has endured it's a little tiring hearing it rehashed. So, no more talk of that. Instead, let's get pretty dang excited for the upcoming zombocalypse (that's copyrighted, by the way) flick! This week a brand new set of banners have arrived.

World War Z. Need anymore be said? Everyone knows of the troubled production, the redacted statements, the reshoots, the rewrites, the…sorry, started to nod off there. With a whole twelve months of reporting focusing on the struggles the film has endured it’s a little tiring hearing it rehashed. So, no more talk of that. Instead, let’s get pretty dang excited for the upcoming zombocalypse (that’s copyrighted, by the way) flick! This week a brand new set of banners have arrived.

Forging some neat symmetry with the concept of World War Z, these latest images highlight individual cities across the globe in the midst of the zombie attack. What makes the premise stand apart from typical blockbusters is the scale of the devastation as made obvious by its title. More often that not, it’s the US that saves the day, and the US who receive the brunt of the attention.

See, that’s a sign of true equality in Hollywood. Now, every country is in total peril from legions of flesh eating drones. Marvellous. Check out the whole gallery of banners below. See if you can spot your capital on fire!

Based on the book by Max Brooks, World War Z is told from the viewpoint of United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt.) As a zombie pandemic takes hold of the planet, he’s one man who will stop at nothing to prevent the planet from turning into a giant all-you-can-eat buffet for the undead. The film’s directed by Quantum Of Solace helmer Marc Forster. Even though everyone banged on about his difficult relationship with Pitt, early word from previews confirms that he’s done a cracking job as the flick apparently kicks butt.

Not one to take on the whole world by himself, Pitt is joined by Mireille Enos, James Badge Dale, Matthew Fox, David Morse and Eric West.

World War Z lands in cinemas on June 21st.
