Bungie’s Next Game Will Be An MMO

Bungie lead network engineer David Aldridge confirmed at a panel session at the Game Developers Conference today that Bungie's next game will be a "massively multiplayer action game." Rumors have been floating around the past week that Destiny will be the title and that it'll be "WoW in space" but Aldridge specifically denied this comparison and noted the project is still currently untitled.

This will be the first non-Halo game Bungie has developed in over ten years and will be published by Activision. Because Bungie and Microsoft’s partnership is now finished, this game will most likely appear on all platforms, but that’s just speculation on my part.
