It’s not uncommon to make a to do list in order to prioritize your summer plans. But it’s safe to say most people’s lists don’t consist of everything Aubrey Plaza’s character has in mind in The To Do Listconsidering her list is filled with mastering every sexual act imaginable, whether it be elegant or surprising.

Today, we get a new red band trailer for the film, and raunchy is definitely the word most appropriate to describe the footage. The story follows Brandy Klark (Plaza), a high school valedictorian and virgin who vows to gain sexual experience before stepping onto a college campus. She is completely clueless though, so she turns to a dictionary, her older sister, her friends, and her boss for help along the way.

This serves as the directorial debut for Funny or Die writer and producer Maggie Carey, who also wrote the screenplay. Plaza, who audiences may know best from her work on Parks and Recreation, was excellent in 2012’s Safety Not Guaranteed. She’s a talented actress and seems to be a great choice for this film’s lead.

The film is a period piece of sorts as well. It’s set in 1993, which will only serve to make everyone old enough to see this movie feel far older than they’d like. Regardless of the year it’s set, this looks like a fun, entertaining summer comedy, though not one you’ll want to take the whole family to.

The To Do List hits theaters July 26th. Aside from Plaza, the all-star comedy cast includes Andy Samberg, Rachel Bilson, Sarah Steele, Donald Glover, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Bill Hader, Connie Britton, Alia Shawkat, Johnny Simmons, Mae Whitman, and Clark Gregg.
