Forza Motorsport 5 Does Away With Artificial Intelligence Racers

With the advent of the next generation comes a change from Microsoft's flagship racing series and its sixth instalment, Forza Motorsport 5. No longer will we be tasked with worrying about driving against artificial intelligence. Instead, all human racers' on-track behaviours will be analyzed by the game and Xbox One, allowing the Cloud to populate one's events with the ghosts of his friends and family members. Through that feature, which is conveniently known as Driveatar, Turn 10 Studios hopes to make the experience feel much more human.

With the advent of the next generation comes a change from Microsoft’s flagship racing series and its sixth instalment, Forza Motorsport 5. Through that feature, which is conveniently known as Driveatar, Turn 10 Studios hopes to make the experience feel much more human.

When I think of this development, what comes to mind is difficulty. What if our friends aren’t overly talented at driving in-game? Will that make things too easy? Surely the developers have thought of this, but it’ll be interesting to find out more about the design and how it will relate to challenge.

In addition to the aforementioned news, Turn 10 also offered us a look at its latest Forza Motorsport 5 trailer, which is featured below.
