Phil Lord And Chris Miller Will Make The Reunion For Sony

Phil Lord and Chris Miller have been a pretty successful directing duo thus far. With films like Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs and 21 Jump Street under their belts, plus the upcoming Lego Movie, the two are certainly a hot commodity in Hollywood these days. That's why, Sony has signed the directors to make a new comedy for them, titled The Reunion.

Phil Lord and Chris Miller have been a pretty successful directing duo thus far. With films like Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs and 21 Jump Street under their belts, plus the upcoming Lego Movie, the two are certainly a hot commodity in Hollywood these days. That’s why, Sony has signed the directors to make a new comedy for them, titled The Reunion.

Not a whole lot is known about the film right now aside from the fact that it centres on a high school reunion. Doesn’t sound particularly exciting and I can already predict the familiar routes that the story will likely head down but who knows? Lord and Miller are a talented duo and I don’t think they’d waste their time on something that sounds lame and recycled.

Having really enjoyed all of Lord and Miller’s work thus far, I’ll remain optimistic about The Reunion. Hopefully it delivers on the laughs in the same way that 21 Jump Street did. I just wish we had some additional plot details or something more to go on.

When we receive further updates we’ll be sure to let you know!
