To prove that social networking is becoming an ever growing power in advertising and actually rather apt to the film’s title and JJ Abrams marketing style, a trailer for Abrams new film Super 8 was released on Twit Vid. I have to say I think it looks great and I am very positive about any film JJ Abrams puts his name to as a producer or director, he tends to produce the kind of entertainment that most mainstream filmmakers wish they could make. In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.
