As part of a panel at San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend, Telltale Games announced the first details about the highly anticipated second season of The Walking Dead.

For anyone who played the first season of The Walking Dead last year, the most important question about round two is if it will continue Clementine’s story. We still don’t know all the exact details, but Telltale confirmed that Clementine “will definitely be a part of” season 2. According to IGN, the studio also revealed a teaser image that showed Clementine sitting next to another child in the rain.

Aside from the good news about getting to play out more of Clementine’s story (assuming that story ends on a positive note), Telltale also confirmed that some part of season 2 will “explore” Kenny’s fate. Considering the situation that we last saw Kenny in during the first season, I’m surprised to hear that there is much more to see.

We also know that some of the choices made in The Walking Dead: 400 Days DLC will carry over into season 2, however, it is not clear exactly how Telltale plans to weave the two stories together.

The second season of The Walking Dead is scheduled to launch sometime this fall. As soon as Telltale releases more information about the release of the first episode we will let you know.
