Watch This Very Impressive Single Take Trailer For Gravity

We all know that Gravity will be an impressive film. I mean, Alfonso CuarĂ³n is behind the camera, he's one of the most interesting filmmakers working today. The premise behind his latest project is ambitious as well (two astronauts played by George Clooney and Sandra Bullock find themselves on a routine mission that is soon turned deadly) and from the footage we've seen so far, it's clear that we are in for a treat.

We all know that Gravity will be an impressive film. I mean, Alfonso CuarĂ³n is behind the camera, he’s one of the most interesting filmmakers working today. The premise behind his latest project is ambitious as well (two astronauts played by George Clooney and Sandra Bullock find themselves on a routine mission that is soon turned deadly) and from the footage we’ve seen so far, it’s clear that we are in for a treat.

Today, Warner Bros. released a new trailer that shows off a single take of Clooney and Bullock in space and we must say, it’s really something. Giving us a trailer like this is so much more effective than what studios usually do (a whole handful of smaller scenes with some corny music playing behind them). I think it’s a fantastic move on the marketing team’s part to give us something like this as it really does an excellent job of selling the film and just how special it is going to be.

Depicting Bullock and Clooney in space when disaster strikes, the trailer is quite riveting and the fact that it’s all one single take, accompanied by an excellent score from Steven Price, makes it all the more impressive. I’ve watched it four times now and am still floored by how effective it is.

I am beyond excited to check out Gravity at TIFF later this year and if this trailer is any indication of what the full film is like, well, we may have a serious awards contender on our hands.
