Batman Vs. Superman To Show An Older Version Of The Dark Knight

According to Batman on Film, an unnamed source is reporting that the Batman we see in Batman vs. Superman will be an older version of the character than we've seen in the past. And by older we mean around mid-40s. That may not mean very much in the grand scheme of things but if it's true, we at least have a better idea of who the studio may cast in the role.

According to Batman on Film, an unnamed source is reporting that the Batman we see in Batman vs. Superman will be an older version of the character than we’ve seen in the past. And by older we mean around mid-40s. That may not mean very much in the grand scheme of things but if it’s true, we at least have a better idea of who the studio may cast in the role.

Brad Pitt, Jon Hamm, Ben Affleck, Gerard Butler, any of these men could play the Caped Crusader if Warner Bros. is indeed going for someone in that age range. If true, this piece of news would also rule out rumors that have actors like Ryan Gosling or Armie Hammer up for the role.

Whatever the case may be, we likely won’t have official confirmation for a very long time. For now, all we can do is speculate. Personally, I was hoping to see a bit of a younger Batman. Henry Cavill, who plays Superman, is 30 and I think it would be best to go for a Batman of around that age as well. We’ll just have to wait and see who the studio decides to go for.

Tell us, if the new Batman will indeed be in his mid-40s, who would you like to see take on the role in Batman vs. Superman? Let us know in the comments below.
