New Kingdom Hearts HD Media Surfaces

As we get closer to the release of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX for the PS3, Square Enix has released new promotional media showcasing the spiffy high-def remastering players can expect to see in the compilation. More specifically, we have a new trailer and new screenshots focusing on the very first Kingdom Hearts game, which will be bundled along with Kingdom Hearts: Re:Chain of Memories and a cutscene compilation from Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days.

As we get closer to the release of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX for the PS3, Square Enix has released new promotional media showcasing the spiffy high-def remastering players can expect to see in the compilation. This particular version of the original Kingdom Hearts is actually subtitled Final Mix, and is based on a special edition of the game that never left Japan. Enhancments include new abilities, enemies, and cutscenes, so North American fans of the series will find some surprises in store for them.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX is scheduled to launch exclusively on the Playstation 3 on September 10 for $39.99. We will keep you updated on more news regarding the franchise as it develops.
