Production is set to begin next month, so I imagine we should be hearing about casting for the last couple of roles shortly. As one of our readers pointed out to us in the comments section, the role of Mr. Waverly, and of course, a main villain, still need to be cast.

As I’ve mentioned in the past, I’m not familiar with the 1960s spy TV series that the film is based on, but I do trust Guy Ritchie’s very capable hands. The Man From U.N.C.L.E. has been through a bit of a troubled production, with many big names coming and going. Now though, everything is set in place and it looks like Warner Bros. has a potential hit on their hands. They’ve got a great cast assembled for this one and Grant, though I wouldn’t have expected him to show up here, should be another solid addition to what looks like a promising film.
