Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze Receives Delay

We now know that one of the Wii U’s most anticipated titles has suffered a delay, that being Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. The news was revealed this morning, during Nintendo’s latest Direct livestream, but it didn’t come as much of a surprise. We hadn’t heard a lot about the game as of late, making it seem like it was still a little ways off.

Now, fans of ape-based platforming can circle the month of February 2014 on their calendars, as they anticipate the company’s new release window for Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze.

Although I’m looking forward to returning to what was my favourite series as a kid, this delay doesn’t really bother me, especially if it will make for a better game in the end, which it surely will.
