Seth Rogen And Evan Goldberg Will Produce Jon Hurwitz & Hayden Schlossberg’s Cherries

The creative team of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are at it again. As the duo gets ready to put together The Interview (which Lizzy Caplan just joined), and are also hard at work on an animated film Sausage Party, we're now hearing that the two are adding another project to their plate. Titled Cherries, Rogen and Goldberg will produce and re-write the script for directors Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, who are most well known for Harold & Kumar series.

The creative team of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are at it again. As the duo gets ready to put together The Interview (which Lizzy Caplan just joined), and are also hard at work on their animated film Sausage Party, we’re now hearing that the two are adding another project to their plate.

Titled Cherries, Rogen and Goldberg will produce and re-write the script for directors Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, who are most well known for Harold & Kumar series. The film will follow three fathers who are out to prevent their daughters from going through with a pact that they’ve made to lose their virginity on prom night.

Hurwitz and Schlossberg are no strangers to raunchy comedy, with the aforementioned Harold & Kumar series under their belts as well as the most recent entry in the American Pie series: American Reunion. Though their films don’t always receive the most positive reviews, I happen to enjoy their brand of comedy and am looking forward to Cherries.

With Rogen and Goldberg now on board, the film should definitely be able to draw in some strong comedic talent. Perhaps Rogen will end up taking a role himself, who knows? Although, considering how busy he’s going to be in the near future, that’s not likely.

Either way, there’s some strong talent behind this one and I’m eager to see how it all turns out.

Tell us, does Cherries sound like it could be a comedic winner to you? Are you a fan of Hurwitz and Schlossberg’s films? Let us know in the comments below.
