A new trailer has been released for Call of Duty: Ghosts today that outlines the clan feature, which is sure to appeal to many. While I personally don’t care much for competitive online gaming or clans, it does look like the game will accommodate those who do.

By registering your existing clan or joining a new one, you’ll be able to unlock exclusive items, battle against other clans, earn clan XP bonuses and more. Perhaps the most exciting part of the clan feature though will be cross-platform battles, which means you can join any clan, no matter which version of the game you’re playing.

The trailer also shows off the Call of Duty App, which will aid you in managing everything related to your clan (emblem, stats). It will also allow you to chat with other clan members.

As I mentioned before, I’m not really a clan guy, but I do appreciate the fact that the game is offering an impressive set of features for those who do like this sort of thing. And as we all know, there are more than enough people who are into Call of Duty clans. The game is one of the most popular multiplayer offerings on the market.

Call of Duty: Ghosts will be released on November 5th for the PC, PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360. On the next-gen consoles it will act as a launch title.

Check out the trailer below and let us know in the comments if you plan on joining a clan or not.
