Though Arnold Schwarzenegger’s return to acting doesn’t seem to be going as well as he likely expected it to (both The Last Stand and Escape Plan were met with mediocre reviews), the Guvernator won’t be slowing down anytime soon. His next movie, David Ayer’s Sabotage, previously titled Ten, is set to hit theaters in April and today, we have some new photos to share with you.

The film follows Schwarzenegger as the leader of an elite DEA task force. After completing a “high-stakes” raid on a safe house belonging to a powerful drug cartel, one by one the members of Arnie’s team begin to be killed off mysteriously.

Normally, I would dismiss a movie like this. Sure, I still find enjoyment in watching Arnold Schwarzenegger do his thing on the big screen, but this sounds like a pretty standard and unremarkable action film. The only thing keeping me hooked is Ayer’s involvement, as the director has proven that he’s a force to be reckoned with when it comes to cop/crime movies. His last film, End of Watch, was terrific and I’m eager to see him return to a similar genre.

Sabotage will arrive on April 11th, 2014 and co-stars Joe Manganiello, Sam Worthington, Harold Perrineau, Terrence Howard, Max Martini, Josh Holloway, Olivia Williams and Mireille Enos. Check out the images in the gallery below and let us know if you’re still enthused about Schwarzenegger’s return to acting, or if you’ve had enough of him already.
