It seems that after a little deliberation, Spearhead Games’ Tiny Brains is set for release for Sony’s Playstation 4 on December 3rd, just in time for Christmas and perhaps more crucially, just in time for those who’ve recently bought the machine and are looking for something with a little quirk and charm to it.
The puzzle game is largely built around co-operative play rather than competitive, and encourages players to work together in order to help a selection of test animals work their way throughout your everyday common or garden mad scientist’s laboratory. Originally set to launch with the console, its delay hasn’t been so huge as to foreseeably affect sales or general interest. If anything, it may fare better for having not been swallowed up by the hype of bigger games that dropped the same day as the machine itself.
