It appears that Atlus will be bringing the Persona franchise into some uncharted waters with the upcoming Persona 4: Dancing All Night. Announced during the company’s NicoNico presentation, the title is currently set to hit Japanese PlayStation Vitas in fall 2014.

Co-developed by Dingo, Persona 4: Dancing All Night will feature all of your favorite characters from the series awkwardly flailing about to music from Shoji Meguro. As with most rhythm based games, gameplay looks to be based around timing button prompts as they appear on the screen.

I was a pretty big fan of Persona 4 when it was originally released, and I even enjoyed Persona 4: Arena when it came out, even though I wasn’t a big fan of that style of fighting game. However, I can say with 100% certainty that I have no interest in Dancing All Night. I understand that there is an audience for this title out there, but that audience does not include me.

We will have more coverage of Persona 4: Dancing All Night when it becomes available. For now though, why not take a look at the video below and tell us what you think in the comments section.
