Michael B. Jordan seems to be the talk of the town these days. After a stunning breakout performance in Fruitvale Station earlier this year, the relative newcomer is all of the sudden being linked to some of Hollywood’s most high-profile projects. Star Wars: Episode VII, ID Forever Part I and Fantastic Four are just three of the many films that the young actor is rumored to be circling. Despite the fact that we have no official studio confirmation on any of the roles that the actor is said to be up for, there’s no denying that Michael B. Jordan is a star on the rise and that everyone wants a piece of him.

Recently, while promoting the upcoming Blu-Ray/DVD release of Fruitvale Station (which hits store shelves on January 14th), we had the chance to sit down with Jordan and director Ryan Coogler for an exclusive chat to discuss the film. While our full interview will be posted next month, we did want to share with you a short clip where Jordan addresses all the recent rumors that have been swirling around the web.

Though he doesn’t give outright confirmation on anything, he doesn’t deny any of it either. Admittedly, it’s not much to go on, but the way that he playfully avoids going into too much detail on what we ask him leads us to believe that he’s hinting at something here. Sure, that might be a bit of a stretch, but if he really wasn’t involved in any of those three projects, wouldn’t he just deny it outright?

Also, in addition to addressing the rumors, Jordan speaks about one film that he is confirmed for, Creed. Reuniting the actor with his Fruitvale Station director, the film will be a Rocky spin-off that will focus on Apollo Creed’s grandson as he “follows his natural instinct and talent to get into the boxing ring with champ Rocky Balboa as his mentor.”

Check out the video below to hear exactly what Michael B. Jordan had to tell us and stay tuned for the full interview.
