The first screenshots of RedLynx’s Trials Fusion have leaked online via the Xbox Live Marketplace. The latest entry in the stunt bike series is currently set for release in 2014 on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Windows PC.

Doing away with the modern courses provided by its predecessors, Trials Fusion thrusts gamers into the obstacle courses of the future. While these leaked screens don’t showcase all of the madness that players will likely have to deal with, it does give us a good glimpse at what the title should look like on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

In addition to these screens, the Xbox Live Marketplace also posted a description of the game that reads as follows:

“Welcome to the next generation of Trials! With its glimmering vision of what our future holds were technology and nature to co-exist, combined with today’s most exciting and popular motorsport, Trials Fusion has retained and enhanced the essential features from its best-selling, critically acclaimed predecessors, Trials Evolution and Trials HD. A magnificent fusion of the proven, no-frills Trials formula based on ultra-addictive competition with the cutting edge of graphics and social networking.”

The Trials franchise was one of the biggest surprises that came out of the last generation of consoles and Fusion will hopefully continue to deliver on the quality that we’ve come to expect. Taking the series into the future is a little bit of an odd choice, but if it opens RedLynx up to throwing even more insane courses and stunts at gamers, than I am all for it.

We will continue to have coverage of Trials Fusion in the coming months, but for now, why not take a look at the screens posted below and let us know what you think in the comments section.
