Is A New Saints Row Game In The Works?

According to actor/comedian Jay Mohr, a new Saints Row game is in the works.

Through Twitter, the funnyman revealed that he’s been in the process of providing voice work to the new title, and even went so far as to supply a picture of the recording booth to his followers. You can check all of that out here, but the quoted text is below.

“About to do my voice over work for new Saints Row video game. #showbiz”

This is interesting news, especially since I’d previously heard a rumour that Saints Row IV was maybe going to be the series’ final release – that is, at least for the time being. I was disappointed to hear that, and hoped it wasn’t true, because I personally loved the direction of its more recent titles. As such, this rumour is like an early Christmas gift for me, even though it’s not exactly official.

Let’s hope that this isn’t just more DLC for Saints Row IV, and that it’s a brand new game entirely.
