The 2014 Razzie Nominations Have Been Announced

Awards season is well underway now and with all the various guilds, academies and circles naming their best films of 2013, the Razzies are stepping in to switch things up a bit. Every year they honor the worst that cinema has to offer and this year is no different. Like usual, most of their picks are exactly what audiences expected, with stinkers like The Lone Ranger and Grown Ups 2 leading the way.

Every year they honor the worst that cinema has to offer and this year is no different. Like usual, most of their picks are exactly what audiences expected, with stinkers like The Lone Ranger and Grown Ups 2 leading the way.

Unfortunately, I had the displeasure of seeing most of these films and I can safely say that the voters are dead on. These are all pretty dreadful movies. Admittedly, there are a few choices that I disagree with (I didn’t think Ashton Kutcher was that bad in Jobs) but for the most part, all of these filmmakers deserve to be nominated in their respective categories.
