Post-Credit Scene Revealed For Captain America: The Winter Soldier

After debuting an impressive new trailer during last night's Super Bowl, Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier is continuing to make headlines today. Now, the studio has apparently revealed some information regarding what audiences can expect to see in the likely blockbuster's post-credits tease. Of course, Marvel has not yet confirmed this scoop, seeing as the highly-anticipated sequel doesn't hit theatres until April. However, the studio has been showing pre-theatrical screenings of the finished product, so I'm inclined to believe that what's being reported here is accurate.

After debuting an impressive new trailer during last night’s Super Bowl, Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier is continuing to make headlines today. Now, the studio has apparently revealed some information regarding what audiences can expect to see in the likely blockbuster’s post-credits tease. Of course, Marvel has not yet confirmed this scoop, seeing as the highly-anticipated sequel doesn’t hit theatres until April. However, the studio has been showing pre-theatrical screenings of the finished product, so I’m inclined to believe that what’s being reported here is accurate.

If you don’t want anything spoiled, you should probably back out of this article now. However, if you’re eager to know who might make an appearance at the end of the Cap’s latest adventure, read on.

Multiple sources are reporting that Pietro and Wanda Maximoff will be making their debut in the post-credit scene of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Better known as Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, the two heroes will be appearing in Avengers: Age of Ultron and will be portrayed by Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, respectively.

Unfortunately, we have no other details on the scene or how the characters will factor into the film. All we can tell you right now is that they will make an appearance after the credits roll.

The other exciting thing here is that reactions from test screenings are extremely positive, with many audience members hyping it up as one of the best Marvel films yet. A couple reports even go so far as to say that it’s better than The Avengers. Whether that’s true or not remains to be seen but so far, I’ve been fairly impressed with the footage we’ve been shown, despite not really enjoying the first Captain America.

Once again, the information about the post-credit scene has not been confirmed by Marvel. Still, it makes sense that they would want to use this sequel as an opportunity to introduce the new Avengers. After all, it’s in Marvel’s interest to beat Fox to the punch with Quicksilver, as that rival studio is planning to introduce their own version of Quicksilver (as played by Evan Peters) in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Tell us, do you think we’ll be seeing the Maximoff siblings in Captain America: The Winter Soldier?
