Today we have our first look at Jason Segel and Cameron Diaz in Sex Tape, which sees the two stars reuniting with their Bad Teacher director Jake Kasdan for another raunchy comedy. In case you couldn’t infer from the title what this one is about, it follows a couple who have to track down a, you guessed it, sex tape that they made and subsequently lost.
Seeing as Bad Teacher brought in over $100 million on a $20 million budget, I’m sure that Sony has high hopes for this one. Personally, while I enjoyed Diaz’s performance in Bad Teacher, I thought the film as a whole was just mediocre and failed to execute on its interesting premise. Sex Tape sounds like it could be a lot of fun though and with Diaz and Segel back in front of the camera, I’m hopeful that the film will turn out a bit better than their last collaboration.
