Finally! After an excruciatingly long wait, Veronica Mars has returned with her very own feature-length film. It’s been a long time coming, too, as ever since the original TV show went off the air in 2007 fans have been clamouring for more of the titular private investigator. Now, thanks to a very successful Kickstarter campaign, we have the highly-anticipated Veronica Mars.

In the film, Kristen Bell reprises her role as we catch up with all of the characters from the original series nine years after the events of season three. Now living in New York, Mars tries to get away from her old life in Neptune but finds herself returning to her hometown when Logan Echolls, her ex-boyfriend, finds himself accused of murder.

Last week in Texas, Warner Bros. held a press day for Veronica Mars and we were lucky enough to be included in the event. While there, we spoke with Bell, co-stars Jason Dohring, Krysten Ritter, Chris Lowell and Ryan Hansen, and of course, creator Rob Thomas. From remembering their first audition to how the concept for the show initially came about, the cast (and Thomas) give us the complete rundown on their beloved characters.

Check it all out in the video below and be sure to catch Veronica Mars when it sneaks into theatres this Friday!
