One of Square-Enix’s most popular releases and arguably one of the best games of all-time may receive a re-release on some new platforms. The ESRB has rated Chrono Trigger, for both of Sony’s current platforms – the PS3 and PSP. If so, there will be a ton of happy PSN users.

No other information was given, so it is unclear as to whether it will be a PSN release or a PlayStation Originals addition. If it’s the latter, there may be a chance that it will be the PS1 version that was bundled into the Final Fantasy Chronicles Collection. Either way, fans of the game are sure to be happy. Especially considering the fact that the game costs an arm and a leg on Ebay in its original format. The game was released for the Nintendo DS as well.
