Rumors have been rampant around the internet regarding which actor will fill Carrell’s shoes. You can find arguments for each of the individuals listed above. To be honest though, no one can really fill his shoes. The show just won’t be the same without him. He made the show and his chemistry with the other actors was brilliant.  Carrell was the star of the show and it was his show. I really don’t see how the show will continue to succeed without him. Sure, the other characters are great as well but Carrell was just ‘next level’ so to speak. I’m sure the show will still be funny and I’ll still watch, but it just won’t be the same.
