Releasing in theatres this Friday is the new Hammer horror film, The Quiet Ones. Inspired by true events, it stars Jared Harris as a college professor who tries to create a poltergeist. Co-starring are Sam Claflin as one of his students and Olivia Cooke as the experiment subject.
Though I haven’t yet seen the film myself, it looks to be rather chilling bit of horror and I’m definitely excited for it. Hammer recently gave us the excellent Woman In Black and I’m hopeful that The Quiet Ones will turn out to be just as terrifying. Judging by the trailers that we’ve seen, I think there’s a good chance that it will be.
