Last week, we told you that Paul Walker’s brothers, Caleb and Cody, were being called in to assist with the production of Fast & Furious 7. Now, we have our first look at the siblings on set (seen above), chatting with franchise star Vin Diesel.

How exactly they brothers are being used is still unknown, but it’s most likely that they’ll act as body doubles to fill in for the scenes that Paul still had to shoot at the time of his tragic death. The one on the right, Cody, actually looks quite a bit like the late actor, so it’s possible that he’ll be used in a greater capacity than Caleb. Again though, nothing has been confirmed by Universal and until we get closer to release, we likely won’t know the specifics of how they were used.

I’ve said it before, but I definitely think that having Walker’s brothers hop on board was a smart move. They both strongly resemble him (Cody especially) and with a bit of CGI and movie magic, I think that the whole process of using them to help complete Paul’s remaining scenes will be pretty seamless. There was no way that they could just write Walker’s character out of the film, and considering the options available, this seems like the most appropriate and respectful route to go down.

Fast & Furious 7 will speed into theatres on April 10th, 2015. Tell us, do you think that Cody and Caleb are suitable replacements for Paul Walker, or should the studio have done something different? Sound off below!
