Continuing the game’s trend of good-looking and memorable pre-release media is a brand new trailer for Wolfenstein: The New Order, which slows things down before ratcheting up its action quotient.
Entitled Stealth vs. Mayhem, the latest gameplay-based advertising effort from Bethesda Softworks hones in on the two notably different strategies that players can utilize while playing through The New Order: Stealth and Mayhem. It does so by first showing the slow-paced and methodical techniques that stealth players will thrive with, before switching to the balls-to-the-wall, grenade-throwing and bullet-slinging ways of the mayhem-loving action gamer. Said transition isn’t only marked by a change in gameplay and a different title card, but also an obvious change in musical intensity, which is one of the more memorable facets of this trailer.
Wolfenstein: The New Order will hit Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC on May 20.
