It’s been confirmed that Xbox One and PlayStation 4 users will finally be able to hack and slash their way through Diablo III this summer.

Earlier this morning, an official Blizzard account published a tweet regarding the company’s (in-development) Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition, and its console release date. According to said post, the set’s Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 release will occur on August 19, and will come bearing console-specific price tags. It’s expected that the Xbox One and PS4 versions will be priced at $59.99, while the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will be twenty dollars cheaper.

In addition to support for four-player local co-op, and mechanics that will allow players to import their last-gen characters into its current-gen versions, the Diablo III: Ultimate Edition will also feature:

  • The Reaper of Souls expansion
  • A free-roam Adventure mode
  • A level cap that goes up to 70
  • The Crusader and Mystic classes
  • Randomized bounties
  • Nephalem rifts to plunder

Those who act now, and pre-order the game before its release date, will also gain access to the Infernal Pauldrons – a piece of armour, which boosts characters’ vitality, as well as their life-per-second and cooldown rates.
