Max: The Curse Of Brotherhood Has Brought Its Puzzles To Xbox 360 And Steam

Months after making its debut on Microsoft's Xbox One, Press Play's fantastical puzzle-platformer, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, has made its way to both Xbox 360 and Steam. Retailing for $14.99 on this side of the pond, the game's two new versions promise the same amount of both quality and care that their predecessor boasted. And, if they can deliver, they'll certainly be well worth checking out.

Months after making its debut on Microsoft’s Xbox One, Press Play’s fantastical puzzle-platformer, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, has made its way to both Xbox 360 and Steam. Retailing for $14.99 on this side of the pond, the game’s two new versions promise the same amount of both quality and care that their predecessor boasted. And, if they can deliver, they’ll certainly be well worth checking out.

Here’s a quote from the game’s latest press release, which discusses its long-awaited migration to both Xbox 360 and PC:

“We put a lot of love and hard work into bringing Max to Xbox 360 and PC ,” said Mikkel Thorsted, Creative Director. “The most important thing for us was to bring over the quality and atmosphere from the Xbox One version to these platforms and I am really proud of what we have accomplished.”

I reviewed Max: The Curse of Brotherhood last winter and had quite a good time with it. There’s a lot to like about what is a rather well-made and challenging game, so here’s hoping that more people will give it a chance. That is, outside of Xbox One owners with Gold subscriptions, who will be able to download the game for free in the very near future, as part of Microsoft’s Games With Gold promotion.
