Shailene Woodley Is Passionately In Love In White Bird In A Blizzard Montage Clip

It may pain The Fault In Our Stars lovers to see actress Shailene Woodley getting intimate with someone other than her co-star in that movie, Ansel Elgort, but a new montage clip from her upcoming mystery White Bird in a Blizzard certainly doesn't pull any punches when it coms to just that. In the wordless teaser for the '80s-set film, Woodley's protagonist repeatedly cozies up to her on-screen boyfriend, played by Shiloh Fernandez. I'm not sure what White Bird in a Blizzard is about based on that clip, which you can check out below, but the marketing department is clearly banking on Woodley's fanbase wanting to see the actress in more sexually charged, adult material.

It may pain The Fault In Our Stars lovers to see actress Shailene Woodley getting intimate with someone other than her co-star in that movie, Ansel Elgort, but a new montage clip from her upcoming mystery White Bird in a Blizzard certainly doesn’t pull any punches when it coms to just that. In the wordless teaser for the ’80s-set film, Woodley’s protagonist repeatedly cozies up to her on-screen boyfriend, played by Shiloh Fernandez. I’m not exactly sure what White Bird in a Blizzard is all about based on this clip alone, which you can check out below, but the marketing department is clearly banking on Woodley’s fanbase wanting to see the actress in more sexually charged, adult material.

The movie, which also stars Eva Green, Christopher Meloni, Gabourey Sidibe, Thomas Jane, and Angela Basset, centers on what happens when a young woman (Woodley) is faced with the sudden disappearance of her gorgeous and enigmatic mother (Green). As she grows up and undergoes a sexual awakening without her mother there to guide her, the woman slowly begins to wonder what happened.

The film didn’t get the best reviews at Sundance, but Woodley’s talent is unmistakable, so I’m looking forward to seeing her in it. White Bird in a Blizzard will be released on iTunes and VOD on September 25th and in theaters on October 24th.

Kat Connors is 17 years old when her perfect homemaker mother, Eve, a beautiful, enigmatic, and haunted woman, disappears – just as Kat is discovering and relishing her newfound sexuality. Having lived for so long in a stifled, emotionally repressed household, she barely registers her mother’s absence and certainly doesn’t blame her doormat of a father, Brock, for the loss. In fact, it’s almost a relief. But as time passes, Kat begins to come to grips with how deeply Eve’s disappearance has affected her. Returning home on a break from college, she finds herself confronted with the truth about her mother’s departure, and her own denial about the events surrounding it…
