Prepare For Double The Dumbness In First Trailer For Dumb And Dumber To

How do you explain what Lloyd and Harry have been up to for 20 years? The answer is simple: you smartly take the opportunity to turn their absence from cinemas into a completely dumb – pun intended – gag that spans 20 years.

Furthermore, if the opening joke in the first trailer for Dumb And Dumber To is any indication of what we’re in store for come November, then this very well could be a sequel worthy of lacing up the boots of its predecessor. If nothing else, it will certainly be a hell of a lot better than that piece of garbage prequel detailing how the two morons met each other.

Simply put, the trailer is full of great jokes and got multiple laughs out of me. If you’re a fan of the original, it’s hard not to bust a gut laughing at some of the stuff that’s on display here. It feels like the Farrelly Brothers are still well aware of how to write Lloyd and Harry as two of the dumbest human beings on the planet, yet still somehow miraculously able to function in the real world, and that’s what made the original the masterpiece of comedy that it is still considered as today.

Dumb And Dumber To sees Lloyd and Harry on another road trip, this time on a journey to find Harry’s daughter that he never knew he had. Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are returning, too, and surprisingly still look great in the roles despite both getting up there in age. All in all, this looks like a pretty worthy sequel and as someone who loved the original, I’m definitely excited to check it out when it releases on November 14th.
